BiographyJoel was born and raised on Vancouver’s Westside and has watched this beautiful city become one of the most desirable places in the world to live. Growing up in the Oakridge area he went to school at Dr. Annie B. Jamieson elementary, Sir Winston Churchill Secondary and Langara College. After graduating Joel went to work in the family business “Honest Nat’s Department Store” for almost 10 years where he learned his most valuable business lessons from his grandparent’s. With the family business closing he decided to follow in his mother’s footsteps and go into real estate becoming a licensed salesman in 1989. In order to give himself a competitive edge in the industry he upgraded his education by taking the Real Estate appraisal program at Langara College as well as the broker licensing course at UBC and received his Agent 9:15 (Associate broker) designation in 1991.
