Joel was born and raised on Vancouver’s Westside and has watched this beautiful city become one of the most desirable places in the world to live. Growing up in the Oakridge area he went to school at Langara College. After graduating, Joel went to work in the family business “Honest Nat’s Department Store” for almost 10 years where he learned his most valuable business lessons from his grandparent’s. After the family business closing, he decided to follow in his mother’s footsteps and go into real estate becoming a licensed salesman in 1989. In order to give himself a competitive edge in the industry, Joel upgraded his education by taking the Real Estate appraisal program at Langara College as well as the broker licensing course at UBC and received his Agent 9:15 (Associate broker) designation in 1991.

Joel has been involved in all different aspects of the real estate industry from residential sales, commercial leasing & sales, development, property management, as well as owning a number of successful small business ventures. Now with over 35 years of experience he has learned how to not only meet his client’s needs but to go far beyond their expectations. His goal is to give every client a 110% of himself to make sure that they are more than satisfied. He feels that the ultimate compliment is to receive a referral from a past satisfied client.
